(Android TV bug) VLC 3.5.4 stuck on Loading

VLC is having issues connecting to shares on a Windows 11 PC.

The PC was added and configured via "Add a new server" and Username and password have been added (Username:Password) to Username now that VLC no longer has the option to add them separately.
Sometimes VLC can reach the PC but mostly it gets stuck on the Loading... screen. This is new for me after years of using VLC without issue. Kodi has no issues connecting to the same PC from the same Android TV, nor are any other devices or apps encountering this issue.
