FTP support

Hi guys.

When I'm traveling it's nice to stream video from my phone storage onto my tablet. I use an ftp server (port 2222) on the phone and hotspot.

I can connect to it with other clients like X-plore but not with VLC. It can't read the directory listing. I wished I could try active or passive mode and see if one or the other works better but the ftp client has very few settings in VLC. For the time being I'm using "Open with" in another ftp client and selecting VLC but this isn't ideal because it times out after around 10 min.

I'm on the 20240126 nightly.
