Play songs in non-shuffle order with Android Auto

Postby PaoloR » 07 May 2023 07:56

Hi everyone.
Using version 3.5.4 on Android 12, when I choose an album to play, the individual songs are proposed in random order.
Is there any way to play them in the original order?

If you drag the currently playing song from the bottom to the top, it will reveal more play controls at the bottom. The crossed-arrows logo denotes Shuffle Mode. Tap to negate it.

If you disable shuffle for the currently playing track while still in Android Auto, the Shuffle All button in the library menu will switch to Play All. (The home tab button is always Shuffle All). Give it a try by going back and forth between the currently playing song and menu while enabling/disabling shuffle all. You should see the menu refresh with an updated image and button description. Note: The Play All/Shuffle All button is only present when two or more albums are shown when browsing by artist or genre.
