I used VLC to RIP "Title 2" from a commercial disc (The Pacific) using the latest 64 bit version of VLC on Window 10. I then copied it to a USB thumb drive and attached via a USB OTG cable to my streaming device.

VLC for Android (on a Firestick 4K) see the MP4, and will play the sound, but no video.

Could you please share some logs? Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs.

Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).
