clock on screen

Is there a clock to appear on the vlc screen?

Not a time-of-day clock, but if you drag down from top of screen, you can see the status line, which has it.

Clock of track time? In Audio, drag the current song from bottom of screen to top to expose the play queue. At the bottom now is a progress bar with track time elapsed. Tap it to see track time remaining.

In video, tap the screen to view the controls and there is a similar display.

i use vlc on android tv which has no status line.

Is there any vlc plugin that displays the time of day?

You're right, there is no way to display the time in the Android TV version. Where do you need it? In the video player?
