Send stream to Google devices fails

I have several Chromecast devices connected to sound systems in my house. I also have a Max Hub display. I used to be able to send a VLC music stream from my phone to these devices.

If I try to now, the devices show in the list, and if I select one, it says "Connected to renderer Max Hub" (or whatever device I select). However, when I launch the stream it says "The location {stream URL} cannot be played now".

The same stream plays directly through the phone speakers.

Could you please share some logs? Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs. Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).

It seems there is an issue with our chromecast implementation and connection to ipv6 addresses. Sorry about that, we hope that it will be fixed in the next release.

As a workaround for now, you can try to force your device to a static ipv4 or disable ipv6 support on your router probably :(

Thanks for the update. I don't believe that I have IPv6 activated in my router. All these devices were installed using the Google Home app, so, unless that forces IPv6....?
