All it says on
https://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-android.html is version 3.5.0 is this the same as 3.5.0 Beta 3 ???? because thats what I got on my TV at the moment & its very buggy - would be nice if they could tell us which is which ??? also would be nice if you could separate the one for mobile phones because anyone thats use both Knows the functions need to be different having different buttons or touch screen than a android Tv Remote control , does that make sense ????
ok , so is version 3.5.0 is this the same as 3.5.0 Beta 3 ???

please can you post the 3.5.1 download Link here when it becomes available ??
I hope the complaints the other guys on the forum are making are not for this new 3.5.1 version, I know your trying very hard to eliminate those bugs.

I just got 3.5.1. Go back where you were, tap "or download the APK package from our mirrors", and navigate to 3.5.1. Better solution: Developers to update the page?
Very subtle bug: Since I last ran orange VLC instead of turquoise Nightlies, I have renamed folder "Country (Top 20)" to "Country (Top 21)". Initial discovery (after I picked 21) failed to detect that 20 was nonexistent. Result: 20 extra database entries, duplicates, one set with no details. Only solution was "Clear media database", at which point discovery ran but did not confine itself to my selected folders, but grabbed ringtones etc.
I still say, Refresh may reread media and adjust tags but is not good at dealing with renamed/deleted tracks/folders. I uncheck, make changes, and pick again.

About the website, you're right. I'll update the page when we switch to 3.5.2 (which should come really soon).
As Spike said, you can always use the "../" link to navigate up and see what is the latest stable version (3.5.1 as for now).
@Spike1: we'll take a look

Problems - updating from 3.5.0 to 3.5.1 - when I click install on Android TV - it says - cant install - do I need to delete - 3.5.0 for this to install ??

I thought my Chromebook would have picked up 3.5.1 by now (assuming 3.5.2 is set to roll out in stages), but I only have 3.5.0. Hmm...

@melani: did you try the 4 versions? Your TV is probably arm64-v8a but it can be another arch
@rstone: I'll be transparent. 3.5.1 was fixing some issues but the main one was the UPnP issue. That's why it stayed at 50% rollout. I released the 3.5.2 version and set it to 50% as well while waiting to see if we didn't introduce new regressions and/or crashes. I'll complete the roll out as soon as we're sure this version is stable enough.

Yes , it was the
https://get.videolan.org/vlc-android/3. ... 64-v8a.apk that I wanted to install , I will delete the old 3.5.0 to see if that will let me install new one.
