cant it play DVDs as bunch of files?

I have no issues playing DVDs as ISO images, but I found no way to open VIDEO_TS folder with files in it - when I try to play a VIDEO_TS folder it just tries to play all files in it one by one and fails. Linux VLC has 'open directory' command which opens VIDEO_TS folder and plays it as DVD, how can I do the same in Android? 3.5.0.
