VLC for Android 3.5.0 problem with Samsung Note 3 & AndroidOS 4.4.2

Looked over the Hardware requirements for VLC for Android 3.5.0 did Not notice anything eliminating Samsung Note 3 still using AndroidOS 4.4.2.

Had No problem with the installation. 1st it offered upgrading my older VLC for Android but when tried to play a video the new Android 3.5.0 did nothing.

Thought may have been an upgrade problem so uninstalled and tried a "clean install" of Android 3.5.0 but same thing happened.

Any suggestions?

Try adjusting Settings->Hardware Acceleration to see if it has any influence.

Either way could you please share some logs? Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs. Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).

Would be glad to help. Will start vacation next week so there will be a small delay in starting to try different setting etc.

Deleted VLC for Android 3.5.0 so hopefully there will be a more recent version to try. As previously mentioned, the problem is while VLC for Android 3.5.0 installs it does Not open so can Not access Settings.

Am totally new to logs and do Not use any sharing service so please tell me which one is the easiest for a beginner to use.
