VLC 3.5.0 RC3 android 12
I play a stream like:
https://user:pwd@host.name.ro/playlist.m3u8
hosted on a lighttpd configured with a self-signed certificate.
VLC is complaining about the certificate, I have to choose "View Certificate" then "Accept Permanently" several times to make it work
I see 5 problems here:
1.
I play this stream from Playlist -> mylist.m3u (it's a file in phone storage)-> then tap on the link.
Nothing happens, no play, no dialog...
After some time I discovered there is a dialog asking me about the server certificate, but that dialog appear only after I tap "...More".
If I stayed on playlist screen that dialog does not appear.
2. at the beginning of the stream VLC is asking me 2 or even 3 times about the certificate, every time I choose "View Certificate" ->"Accept Permanently".
3. after some time (once was 1minute or so, another time 3-4 minutes) the stream play stops.
I found out VLC was asking me again about the certificate, and again I saw the dialog about the certificate only after I changed to "... More"
4. Next time I try to play the same stream (stop the stream, close VLC, start back VLC) it is asking me again about the certificate, so go back from 1. all over again
5. text of the buttons on the dialog that's asking about the certificate are hardly visible, the button on the left da only "A" visible, I had to rotate the phone in landscape to get what the dialog wanted from me.
I think it's better to have these buttons one above the other, not on the same line

Is there any libvlc option I can put in VLC to auto accept self-signed certificates?
