VLC For Firestick Critical Flaw

Hi,
I recently installed VLC for Firestick and was "shocked" to find, after entering my user name and password, that there is "no way" to select the "OK" button to continue. There are only a few buttons on the Firestick remote, so this should be a no brainer. How in the "world" could this app be written without someone testing it to see if it even "works." I get to the very end and there is absolutely "no way" to select OK. "How" is this possible? It's insulting that no one does anything about it. Please help.
