How do you bring up which audio track (e.g. Dolby Digital, DTS HD MA, PCM) is currently playing when watching a movie?

I am using an NVIDIA Shield

Also, when you select the track, it just states Track 1, Track 2 etc I stead of .Dolby Digital, DTS HD MA, PCM, etc

The Track description is part of the container you are using. When you use .mkv for example then you can set the tracknames with mkvtoolnix

PS: when you use Bluray Rips: .m2ts files in STREAM-FOLDER does not have any track descriptions. I think these information is part of the Playlistfiles or CLIPINF (.mpls/.clpi)

When playing your movie, you can click on the three dots on the right side of the player, and then click on Video Information in the menu that appears
