Playback speed not saving

Postby fidorulz » 01 Sep 2021 20:48

I'm running 3.4.0 beta 6 on a note 10+ running android 11 and noticed that playback speed is no longer being saved when playing back different videos

Hope logs I post help but basically one video was at 3x speed then I went to another which by itself was at 2.5x speed and then the other video for some reason was at 1x speed

Logs

Do you have reproduction steps? I am not able to reproduce this issue.

I have a bunch of videos. If I finish one and start another sometimes playback speed is saved sometimes not

For the logs I attached first video played at 3 times speed then next at 2.5 and then 1x

Did you already play the videos that are reverting to speed 1?

If so, it may be expected. When you play a video, the speed is saved (with the progress etc).

Now, let's say you play some videos:
- Video 1 (never played)
- Video 2 (never played)
- Video 3 (already played at speed 1)

You're playing Video 1 and change the speed to 4.
Then you skip to Video 2, the player will see that there is no speed saved and will continue playing at speed 4.
Then you skip to Video 3, the player will see that there is a saved speed (1) and will continue playing at speed 1.

No for my situation these are all videos that have never been played prior
