Teardrop

In the 3.4.0 Nightly dated 0615, Portrait orientation, looking at the play queue with one song enqueued, there is sometimes a teardrop (circle with point extending downward; or a "snow cone"), just above the progress bar and to the left of the play time clock. It's centered at the left edge of the screen, as though it were marking the start of the track. What is it?
I can't drag it. If I flip to Landscape, it isn't there, and if I flip back to Portrait, it still isn't.

I am not sure I see what you mean. Do you have a screenshot?

Finally got it to do it. At lower left, next to orange dot.

This is the AB repeat indicator. See:
It should not be shown as you are not in AB repeat mode (you get no icon at the top).
Does it happen for every playback? I am not able to reproduce.
Could you also please tell me what is your device model and Android version?

Certainly not, its appearance is very rare. I never use A-B mode. This is on a Samsung J3 Orbit running Android 9.

Is there something unusual you do when it happens? Like changing the screen orientation or having some non-default settings.

Thanks! No, I have not been able to devise a pattern for when it appears.
