Get EGP information with libVLC

I'm developing an IPTV player. This player should play UDP and RTP streams. I would like to know if it is possible to extract EPG information from these streams using libVLC or another related library.

I found libdvbpsi library that has the needed feature:

• EPG Information Table (EIT), decoder and generator.

But how can I use it in Android App?
