Casting from Android throws warning behind UI

For a very long time, when casting certain video formats, VLC Android pops a message about requiring conversion.

Recently(2-3 months?), this message box has been updated with three options: Cancel - OK, Don't warn me again - OK.

Frequently, after pressing play, this message box doesn't pop up above the UI, and the video just sits with play pressed on the UI.

After tapping here and there, it eventually comes to the focus. I cannot determine which taps will do it consistently.

Also, the "don't warn me again" doesn't seem to be persistent? Is it supposed to be?

Recently joined beta, still happens: VLC 3.3.3 Beta 3 - Android 10 on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 SM-T860
