Subtitles not being downloaded(Not sure if this is a bug reporting forum,beta bug reporter app took me here)

(Not sure if this is a bug reporting forum,beta bug reporter app too me here) I was trying to download the subtitles for Last Christmas on my android 10 device. I couldn't download the 2 results that I could see. Used the bug reporting app (I'm enrolled for beta releases) and here I am. Please redirect me if I'm at the wrong place.

A lot of work has been done on the subtitle part these last days. The changes will be available in the next beta.

To be sure, could you please provide some logs?
Go in the Settings > Advanced > Debug logs > Start logging
Then reproduce the issue, dump logcat logs and attach the file here.

I was also having same problem but was able to sort it out.When the file is in SD card the subtitle are not downloaded but when file is in internal storage the subtitles are downloaded.I am using Samsung A50S android 10.So the problem is with some permission in SD card.

No. The movie is on SD card. I double checked and write access is active.
