VLC Player on Xiaomi Mi Box S - Sound out of sync

Hi guys,
I recently installed VLC on Xiaomi Mi Box S, and it seems like every time I try to play a movie 1080p/720p over 1.5gb the sound is delayed and out of sync.
Anybody knows how to fix this issue?
