When I access the Samba server with VLC for Android, I input a username and password and show message everytime .I checked a box of Remember password.

SMBv1 authentication required
The computer() you are trying to connect to require authentication. Please provide a username (ideally a domain name using the format DOMAIN;username) and a password.

But When I use VLC old version(VLC 3.0.96), I only need to enter username and passwrod.

Why is VLC for Android 3.2.7 and VLC 3.0.96 different? Please tell me the configuration enabling Remeber username and password.

I have the same problem. I have to re-enter login and password any time i change folders on SMB NAS.

Exactly de same problem here.

How to fix this?
