VLC Controls for Smart TV (Sony AG9)

Hi,

I've been using VLC on my PC's for many years and have just installed on a Sony AG9.

I've had no problems connecting to a shared folder using SMB - that works great.

Two simple questions:-

The media view groups folders and videos by their initial letter - can this be changed to remove the grouping and just show an alphabetical list?

Is there a way for me to display the codec information when a video is playing? For example resolution, FPS, bit rate, etc? I've always found this really useful.

And one final question, is there a user guide as such for VLC on Android (Smart TV's). I'm fairly IT literate but am sure there are certain things I've not discovered yet. In particular I couldn't find a way of easily fast forwarding at 2x or 4x for example (without changing the overall playback speed) and is there a way to jump to a specific time point?
