VLC in my Android phone recently updated to 3.2.3

The update changed the stream entries in VLC by substituting the colon in the stream url to what looks to be the Alt-text designation (%3A). For example the stream address that was http://listen.myfavoritestation.com:8003/listen, was changed to http://listen.myfavoritestation.com%3A8003/listen. The "%3A" was substituted for the colon ":". Therefore the stream would not play in VLC. However the stream listing showed it as http://listen.myfavoritestation.com:8003. I found the incorrect listing when I copied to clipboard.

To get around this I would like to be able to save streams I listen to, to the VLC Playlist, and it looks like i now can in version 3.2.3 (yeah ). However, VLC does not allow me to edit the stream url coordinates in the playlist, or delete the stream entry. This becomes a problem if the internet stream URL is changed by the broadcaster, or If I simply want to delete the stream entry in VLC. How do we overcome this problem and make the playlist & stream features more user friendly in VLC Android?

I concur. Reverted to version 3.1.7, which I had to 'uninstall' 3.2.3 first (which removed all of my 'stream' and 'playlist' entries).

SO, for future 'safety', I created '.pls' (playlist) files on my PC, which I copied to the "Playlists" folder on the phone, and configured VLC to include 'that' in the library search.

Such that, I have a 'backup', and no longer have to manually 'created' the entries 'on the phone', but can easily create or edit them on the PC, and just upload (or re-upload) them to the "Playlists" folder...
