VLC for Android TV box does not load media data from the network drive

Hi all
I use Nvidia Shield Android TV box and I have all my music stored on a local network drive attached to my router. I can play the music albums in the VLC without any issues, but I cannot create a library folder out of them. Hence, I can only browse by folders, not by Artist, Album, Genre, etc. Also, when playing an album, I don't see the album art (all my folders with albums have album cover picture located in the folder and named as 'Cover.jpg'). Any ideas please?
