VLC on Chrome Web Store need to be updated to the newest version

Since introducing of VLC on Chrome Web Store for Chrome OS users more than 3 years ago, VLC media player haven't had any update versions yet. You can suggest Chrome OS users to using the VLC Androi version on the Play Store but not all Chromebooks are supported Androi apps. So I highly recommend that VLC media player on Chrome Web Store need to be maintained and updated to newest version because version 1.7.3 is very old and not stable as VLC on other platforms. Maybe adding more media codes is really helpful.
