good morning i am an happy owner of an ASUS C300 SA (play store enabled) . A week ago i purchased an external dvd-rom in order to watch ome old dvd i had here at home using VLC. I had both the chrome store version and the one from google play store. But with my surprise i found out that i coludnt find anymore the chrome os version i had installed but just he android version. And if i tried to install again the chrome os version from this site https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... fpnfhpcndf i received a 404 error. so i really don't understand... did they remove the chrome os version because of the android one or is it just a technical issue ? I am asking because using the android version it can't detect media on the external usb dvd rom but only on the "download" local folder (unless you know any way to let it scan the external drive). So i have been forced to install MX player with the x86 codecs to se my dvd rom. Not a great deal but would like to use VLC again.Any idea?

Someone posted the same question here just yesterday.

The response was:
It is indeed gone. Not from our action. Probably Google is phasing our ARC.

I will ask.
