SMB connection to Synology NAS stuck on "loading" screen

Using latest 3.0 release on Android phone (Nougat) and tablet (Marshmallow).
When trying to acces Synology NAS using SMB, no credentials are asked, and i'm immediately getting the following screen forever:
Meanwhile, VLC is able to connect to SMB shares on others computers (Windows 10, raspberry) and the same Android devices are able to connect using SMB to the NAS shares using others applications (MxExplorer with MiX SMB 2.0/2.1 plugin for instance)
