Feature request: Songs section Sort by Date (added or modified)

Hi,

title says it all.

To go into more detail: think of the demographic that is using VLC for Android to listen to music. Most Android users settle for streaming apps and don't have any offline collection anymore. So who does that leave us with: (among others) the people that take higher interest in the quality of their music and aren't satisfied with mp3s. On that note VLC is a very attractive app as it is one of the most well designed ones that play formats such as AIFF for instance.

Now the demographic in question will generally not have a collection of 10-20 songs. I personally fill up most of my storage space with songs, albums, recordings etc. etc.. Hence a large collection. Now whenever I add something new to this collection and open VLC they will be scattered all over the songs section without any option to group them and play all the new or most recent things at once. To listen to them I'd have to go through the list by hand, which yesterday took me more than 10 minutes and is not something I likely do often.

I'm writing this in such detail to emphasise the importance of this feature if VLC is to be adequate as the main music player. (I'm also writing this as I think that once this feature is available I will use it as my main player and can imagine others will too). I even just saw that the albums section can be sorted by date, but not the songs!

Bottom line is that I would abundantly appreciate this feature if it were to be added!

PS: In case the "added or modified" thing is to be weighed against each other at some point: modified is a bit inconvenient as some software modify songs just when they are played. For instance using Traktor Dj to play a song will modify something about it every play, and leads to Google Play Music listing the songs I recently played out back at the top. So I would suggest Date added.
