Mpeg Dash using input-slave?

Postby MidnightCoder » 27 Sep 2017 05:48

I'm using 2.0.6 and tried playing YouTube dash by playing a YouTube's video-only file and use input-slave= to play the audio file. This seems to work but the playback is quite choppy. Anyone has any idea why adding input-slave this way caused the issue? If input-slave isn't the right way to play mpeg dash, how do I play mpeg dash in 2.0.6?

There's no known working support of DASH in 2.x, and I doubt it could even work as slave on 3.0
:!: If you want your problem to be solved :
* First read troubleshooting guide VSG:Main
* Always provide verbose LOGS ! (command line or from gui)
* Always check your issue against a developer build from Nightly Build of VLC

Thanks for your reply. Input-slave works fine w/ 2.x on Windows. Any known reason why it works but playback is choppy on 2.x on Android?
