VLC beta 2.1.13: Playlists not found

Hi there,

I just signed up for the beta and installed VLC for Android 2.1.13
I don't know if this belongs to the bug reports, so I'll try the get some help here first.

My playlists are not found. All other media is found, just like the release build. When I navigate to my playlists in the folders I can play them just fine, but they don't show up in the list where they are supposed to be.
Is this a known issue, or am I the only one? Is this the correct place to ask these questions?

-------------------

Now there is a totally seperate suggestion I would like to make:
In the view where you see the titles of a playlist, you see the following information:
Title name, artist name, length.

I would like to see the album name there as well, just like it is shown in the "songs" tab list.

----------------

Thanks for your help :-)

(Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see the option to edit my post above)

To clarify my problem:
  • I am able to create new playlists and save them from within VLC. Those show up in the "Playlists" tab
  • The m3u playlists located in the same folder where my music is stored do not show up in the "Playlists" tab (as they did in the release build)

I am unable to reproduce this bug with a recent version of VLC. Using a very old Beta v0.9.10, navigating within VLC using the Directories tab to the location of several xspf playlist files, VLC displays an empty list of items. Using version 2.1.9, the playlists do show up when browsing their directory. Using v2.1.13, the play lists also appear. So for me, this issue exists in very early versions of VLC Android, not in recent versions.
