How to turn off Connecting Headphones starting the muisc

Postby exeetor » 27 Jan 2016 12:32

Hi!
First and foremost! I love the app but I have a few quarrels with it.
One of the main ways I shut of Music from my phone is usually to just remove the headphone plug. Just take it out and put it back in (dont want to have the cord loose in my pocket).
This works for almost all the players out there. From Spotify to the stock-player on my phone, it also makes it so I dont need to actually remove the phone from my pants to turn the Music off.
Problem is this. VLC restarts the Music asap I connect the headphone again. I found the setting that allows the app to detect headphone disconnect and reconnect but problem is then that the Music does not stop if I unplugg and recoonect the headphones.
Is there maby anyway you guys could split this option into 2 settings?
Its kidna annoying to have just one app behave diffrent then all the rest.

Cheers!

Hello!

Have you checked if there's an option on your phone such as RESUME ON WIRED HEADSET? You can uncheck that and there's another one PAUSE ON HEADSET DISCONNECT, you can check that option so whenever you unplugged the headset, the music will pause.

Let me know if that helps. :)

As with the OP, I really want independent control for "stop on disconnect headset" and "resume on reconnect headset". Currently the two settings' states are linked.

Apart from that - brilliant app! Thanks.
