VLC Player Force Quits with MHL connection.

I have a Note 5 for AT&T, and bought the actiontech screenbeam mini 2. I watched a movie thru VLC no problem the day before yesterday.

Now, everytime I start a movie VLC player auto quits. Doesn't happen when not connected to MHL.

Please help.

yes this is still an issue that wasn't present in earlier releases, let's say my screen timeout is after 5 minutes, so as I'm 5 minutes into watching a video through screen mirroring VLC stops and I have to open the screen again to press Play, please fix this.
