Is there Intent API for android developers?

Hi,

I am a developer, I want to use VLC as a video player for my Android app. Is there any public Intent API for me to open a video (with subtitle) in VLC player programmatically? I have search the wiki but could not find any document about this.

Yes, there is an API, but it's still evolving, therefore, not documented.

There is a subtitle way, but only for files.

I was able to open video by VLC now, but I don't know how to set the subtitle. I could not found the way to use subtitle in the link you provided, do you have any idea?
