Hi

I am doing research at ASU and using VLC on Nexus device. I have 2 doubts. Any help will be highly useful.

Q.1: How can I measure FPS, if there needs to be any code inserted, then can someone guide me?

Q.2: There are 3 operating modes i.e. Full, Decoding and Disabled. What difference comes because of them. From checking the CPU and GPU loadI could get following result:
Full Acceleration: GPU: 0.018276762 CPU: 13.122447
Decoding Acceleration: GPU: 18.89013146 CPU: 22.18647522
Disabled Acceleration: GPU: 19.09782067 CPU: 59.0592809
Who performs the rest of the job in Full and Decoding acceleration and which work do they do?

In full acceleration, the picture is decoded in the GPU and sent to the display without being touched by the CPU.

In decoding acceleration, the picture is decoded in the GPU and passed back to the CPU to send to the display.

In disabled, the picture is decoded in the CPU and sent to the display by the CPU.
