No sound playing DVD iso

Hi,
I've got some DVD iso on my Synology NAS (SMB). I play them using DS file (pure browsing no DLNA or something) by browsing to the folder and selecting the iso. The video is played but there's no sound. I already tried the different audio options in the settings, but no change. When choose MX Player play the video it works (though the video is stuttering a bit). As far as I see all the audio tracks are ac3 but some isos do work. So it must be something else I guess. Any advice?
