VLC for Android beta - bug report and feature request

Playlists: VLC for Android beta (version as of today, 2 January 2014) does not play an m3u-playlist on my smartphone (an AT-AS40D2 with Android 4.2). I would very much like that feature to be added. On my desktop PC, VLC Media Player (version 2.1.2 Rincewind) plays the same playlist (from my smartphone) perfectly. (Just to be exact: the playlist is stored on my smartphone, and refers to mp3.-files on my smartphone.)

Bug: on my smartphone, VLC for Android shows my SD-card as "Internal memory", and the internal memory (from my phone) as "sdcard1" (from Preferences | Folders, or from the left menu | Folders).

1) https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/8895

2) That's just what the Android OS told us...

I'm able to play m3u in Beta 16 but not directly. Also only tested with a single stream.

m3u file type seems not to be displayed in download folder. So i take Filemanager Fileexpert and say open with VLC. But VLC will be closed immediately. After this i open the VLC manually and see the m3u in history. Now i start it again from history and it plays my stream. A little bit complicated at the moment.

yes, we are aware of this, the app can play it, but there in nothing in the user interface for it (yet).
