Key features that are badly missing

I m using VLC on my desktop since ages so i wanted to use VLC as my main video player on my smartphone. But i must say that i had to change my mind after testing the beta client of VLC for android.

Currently it misses some key elements from the desktop version of VLC such as :

- A video loop option to repeat your video continuously (at least i haven't found it)
- A zoom feature to display a very specific part of a video such as the one of the desktop version of VLC.

So i had no choice but to use MX player instead of VLC because it has a video loop and a zoom option (the zoom is centered on the screen so it's not has good has what the desktop version of VLC offers).

Do you plan to add both those key features to the android version of VLC ?

You mean the interactive zoom? FOr the loop, you should file a bugreport.

And as for video zoom, we don't have a good way to interact with and use that filter yet.

Yes, i m speaking about the interactive zoom feature. Filing a bugreport for the loop ? Does that mean that there is a way to loop the video that you re playing continuously already ? Because i haven't found how to do such a thing on the android version of VLC so far. So an explaination about how to proceed would be appreciated :)

Ok, thanks for info. Having the interactive zoom and the loop option in the android version of VLC ll make me switch from MX player back to VLC as my main video player on smartphones. So i ll wait until then
