VLC for Nook HD?

The Nook HD does not allow use of Google Play. Is there a build that will work for the Nook HD?

You can take an ARMv7 nighty build.

Nope, nothing, not working. Tried downloading it dirrectly from this site to the Nook and nothing happened. Tried downloading it to the PC and transfering it from there to the Nook and the Nook won't allow me to access the file once it is in the Nook's memory. Tried downloading it to the PC and running the set-up from there with the Nook conected and.... well, calling it a disaster is downplaying it a bit, luckily everything on the PC was backed up on the external drive.
Any other thoughts?

I'd like to help test for the Nook HD+. It has a TI OMAP 4 (4470) processor and Android 4.0 (ICS).
