Noticed that with the latest 1 or 2 versions, the sound doesn't stay in synch with video (episodes from TV series) .. also tried the Mr & Mrs Smith .mp4 video from the test package again (in the sticky start topic here) and it's now also out of sync, while I'm 100% sure that when I tested early July, it was OK.
Anybody else notice this ?

Try changing your audio output to AudioTrack (Java) in preferences.

This is a bug.

I am also affected by the bug. Video ocassionally lags one second behind the audio, with several video formats, and even with AudioTrack (Java) set as the audio output. The bug is easier to trigger when resuming the playback of a long video. A workaround would be to add the possibility of setting the video/audio delay as in the desktop VLC... if the option was there, that is. You can port the sync controls to VLC for Android while the reason for the desynchronization is found.

FYI I have the same problem playing MP4 files (and perhaps others - not sure) on my Samsung S4 mini with 0.1.4

Which audio output?

I use the stereo jack with headphones or the built-in speaker (no BT) if that's what you need to know (I haven't seen any audio output option in the preferences menu)

Look under advanced debugging or something.

OpenSL ES (was selected y default): delay
AudioTrack (native): delay
AudioTrack (java): no perceptible delay
