Sorry, this is a bit of a stupid question, but my current phone doesn't support VLC, and my new phone hasn't arrived yet, so I can't check for myself yet. I was wondering if the Android beta supports ISO video formats. Thanks.

It does not. Maybe it will.
You want DVD iso, right?

OK, but judging from
"Subtitles support, embedded and external, including ASS and DVD subtitles"
I figure it supports DVD folders, right? Which is actually even better (no 4+ GB files).
Sorry, can't check myself, only own Kindle Fire at the moment... Thanks!

No. DVD subtiles is not DVD folders.
DVD Folders and VIDEO_TS.IFO files - Not ISO Image files

I have downloaded the latest nightly build and the player seems to work OKAY with the exception of working with DVD Folders and VIDEO_TS.IFO files. I was under the impression that VLC supported DVD structures is this not true?

This is kind of odd. I was told that the no-longer-available VLC for iOS even plays ISOs. Well, Daroon (Wondershare) plays DVD folders on Android, so no big deal.

There is no DVD support on VLC/Android, so far.

Exactly my question, VOB files play but it does not look like the DVD menu is supported (IFO files?).
Is a rough estimate available if (and when) that might come?
Keep up the great work!
