Feature request: play video in background

I often play music videos on my phone, but the problem is I can't multitask without the video getting paused. So far every media player I tried in android has this issue. How about a option to keep the audio of a video being played while multitasking?

I know it can look pointless but in Windows you can multitask without problems. Youtube app has same problem, its a bit annoying.
