Being a longtime user of VLC on my Windows system(s) I decided to try VLD on my new pad. It runs without serious hitches for a while (about 6 min.) and than seems to crash and exit. The pad has no problems playing 720p and 1080p ripped movies on its native resolution (1920*1200) but still the program hangs. Iḿ still tryng to get the hang of the pad but I cannot provide more detail as I get no error messages or warnings at all, but to be honest Iḿ not sure if they exist in android.

Hoping for a stable version, but the effort put in already makes me happy. I hope to see my favorite player soon on my pad

Another report on the TF700T, ASUS firmware version 9.4.5.26: when enabling hardware decoding and playing a video, only sound is emitted (maybe HW accel is not supported with h.264), but more importantly it somehow leaves the graphic card in a weird state: starting a game (ie "Anomaly HD", "Osmos" or "Space chem") results in eithera crash (app exits) or screen corruption / being blacked-out. I see no issues on the home screen nor on 2d apps, including chrome. With "Anomaly HD", the crash only occurs when starting a mission, sometimes after a few seconds, and not[ often] in the menu, althoug it has a 3d background (I believe it is not pre-rendered, s it is pretty sharp on this beautiful 1920x1200 screen).

So far, I could not find a cure for this other than rebooting the tablet.
