UPnP support ?

Postby hipitihop » 17 Jul 2012 09:37

Sensational work guys, so far seems to work well on my HTC Desire.
Only thing missing for me is being able to navigate and play via UPnP. In particular I want to be able to play back from my MythTV and Squeezeserver like I can with teh desktop counterpart of VLC.

Is UPnP support being worked on ?

I've been using a separate UPnP app to feed MythTV videos to VLC, but the HD playback is pretty choppy; I'm not sure whether that's due to running a debug version of VLC, or a crappy UPnP app.

Native support in VLC would definitely be better.

+1

Is this feature coming out soon? It is pretty standard on other players.
All my videos are on my NAS on my LAN, so I need to find a way to play them, either UPnP or DLNA server.
