Hi everybody,

I have HTC Evo 3D and I wanted to try the VLC Beta. Although HTC Evo 3D has the NEON ( I checked it from /proc/cpuinfo ), Google Play does not let me to install it. The /proc/cpuinfo output is given below:

Play says VLC Beta is not compatible with my device. Is there any other source to download and install VLC dor Android?

I was able to install the VLC Beta by downloading the software and install it with a file manager from the URL http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/android-v7-neon/ . But Google Play doesn't let me install it as I mentioned above.

It works but it cannot decode some of the videos captured with the phone. This decoding problem decreases if the hardware acceleration is opt in. There are no visible differences in audio.
