tried the beta out yesterday. played videos same as other players at the moment (1080 videos) as there is no support for this format as yet, but the problem i encountered was the volume for ringtones decreased by atleast half the original level. after uninstalling beta and rebooting phone, volume level back to original level. the list of supported phones at the moment only lists the htc one x (tegra 3 version) so hopefully this is the problem - no full support for snapdragon s4 chipset. looking forward to the full version with hopefully full htc one xl support.

Sorry, but I didn't quite understand what your problem here was. Did you reset the system/media volume after playing any files? It's also possible that you accidentally muted the system volume by accident, as those can be easily confused.

all the media and system volumes were all still at max volume and it was not muted at all. after the reboot, all volumes were still at full level, yet the sound level was back to original levels, not sounding like half or less volume.
