VLC Beta on play store problem

When I go to install this on my Galaxy Nexus from the web store I get the message that says "This app is not available in your country" is this app not going to be coming to the United States of America?

I just downloaded and sideload installed the vlc beta on my Kindle fire. Will there be a version made for the kindle fire in the future? I have not tested it fully yet, but if it's anything like vlc for the pc, I'm really excited for it. If there's a way to submit bug reports through the app, I will throw in my $0.02 as I test. Thanks!

Wouldn't the standard ARMv7-NEON apk work for Kindle Fire, since it has a OMAP 4430 processor? Or maybe I am missing something...
