Asus Transformer TF101

Postby HalifaxSamuels » 01 Jul 2012 04:43

I just wanted to make a thread for me or anyone else that happens to be using an original Transformer tablet to post about issues.

So far, using the android-v7-tegra2 nightly build (I'll feel very silly if this isn't the right build), it is apparent it's a nightly/beta build. MP4s have are basically unwatchable - audio is fine but the video jumps and pixelates very badly. AVIs work better, but still have a few similar glitches. I also had to change the root directory in the preferences from /sdcard/ to / so I could access /Removable/MicroSD/ and /Removable/SD/ for the removable media. Hardware acceleration seems to just lock the program most of the time.

I like the option to select which folders are displayed on the main page. Will the ability to go above 100% volume be included in the Android builds? I could really use that since one of my speakers is busted from a drop - that cuts into the overall volume of the device significantly. Brightness swipe control would also be appreciated if that could be included. Can't wait for the release on the Play store.
