Is it just me or is vlc not available in the play store?
I don't think the beta has been released to the play store yet, at least as of June 29.

I thought it was because a few days ago there was a posting on http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-android.html that it was coming to the play store in a few days now its written like its available and has the link for the play store.

Same here been watching for link for weeks only appeared today but link does'nt work as from 29-6- 22.00

I get "This app cannot be installed in your device's country".
I'm in the US, and I think we all know why this is. I would love to help test the app on my T-Moblie "MyTouch 4G", aka HTC Glacier.
I think the APK should be downloadable from the VideoLan website as well, to circumvent all the crazy restrictions from the recalcitrant carriers and other industry entities.

I'm in the US, and I think we all know why this is.
We just don't have access to enough US phones, notably CDMA/LTE ones.
