VLC - Android - FOLDER View Please

I've been using the Unofficial VLC Android build from the XDA forums (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1517415) on a Samsung Galaxy II phone.

For those interested the player itself works perfectly well, and yes, I understand that it is an unofficial and non-supported VideoLan release...

but...

I do want to request a feature for the (hopefully soon enough) official release.

I would like to see the ability to browse my music through the Directory / Folder structure I already have my music in.

To be blunt, I'm a little amazed that this functionality isn't already in Android for VLC, and I'm going to explain my situation as to why I am a bit amazed: Thing is I have a large collection of Tracks from OCRemix, and they are already sorted into various games (e.g mario, megaman, final fantasy). However, because I can only browse my music by Artists, Albums, Songs, or genre's, I have a nigh-incomprehensible chaotic mess from VLC trying to sort through the songs by tags, rather than just, you know, doing the sensible thing and letting me browse my stored music through the sorting I have already done.

So, would whoever is actually writing the VLC android point please keep in mind that having cutesy tag sorting can actually be a -bad- thing for some music collections?

You realize that every music application sorts by tag, right?
