inconsistent operation of remote access

I have vlc for android 3.6.3 installed on a SEI Robotics - TVision HUB v2 which runs Google TV. It has remote access 0.1.0 available. I use remote access from my laptop to control it and am seeing inconsistent operation.

I have a number of internet radio streams saved and switch among them over the day to follow the programming I want to hear. I find that much of the time I cannot change from one stream to the next via the remote access. Sometimes it works, but not always. When it doesn't work I have to resort to either using the remote control for the HUB or anydesk access to change the station.

How can I get consistent operation of the remote access feature? Can I provide debug information to help figure out why it sometimes will not work?

Could you please describe exactly what you do in the web part? Hit the 'next' button? Select a media in the play queue?

Some logs would also be useful. Just after reproducing the issue, in the web part:
1. Click the 3 dot a the top right corner
2. Click "Log files"
3. Click the button in the "Current logs" line until a new line appear (it's buggy, you may have to tap twice)
4. Download this new line file and share it
