BUG: Android TV 3.6.3 - Equalizer sliders not working

On Android TV the sliders of the equalizer no longer respond.

I used to be able to use the directional buttons on the remote to select individual sliders and, once one was active, move the slider up and down.

Now, once on a slider, moving up or down moves me to other UI elements. I have tried pushing OK to perhaps activate a slider, to allow moving it up and down, but that doesn't work. Also, I cannot move sideways between the sliders.
