SMB Samba issues starting with 3.6.0 beta

Hi. I got the upgrade to 3.6.0 beta 3 and it fails to work stable with Windows Shares and was partially fixed in beta 4. Now Beta 5 has new SMB/NetBios issues. I have also tried 4.0.0 nightly

3.6.0 beta 5 sometimes shows too many icons (repeated) for the "Local Network"

Nightly versions after selecting the discovered computer name stay stuck at "Loading..." forever but they do load of I go Back and in again

4.0.0 does not ask me for the username and password and when I click on a Windows computer it just says "the directory is empty"

4.0.0 started asking for user name and password since the last update (12/19)

Still has the "Loading..." issue, fixes going back and forth.

Happening with me as well with DLNA server. Same DLNA server is accessible using 3.5.7.

Happening with 3.6.3 as well. Seems like VLC tries to pre-emptively index the files, but at the expense of the current tree.

We were able to reproduce the issue and understand what is happening. We are working on it. In the meantime, you have to wait for the current browser to display all the subdirectories count before navigating further.

Are you sure about the 3.6.3 having this issue ? It was only released yesterday, and should fix this issue.
